Branding sessions, portraits, families, seniors, special events and celebrations are all in my wheelhouse. I love photographing in the golden hour of sunset so that light can create the magic that is intended.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your beach session. Rule #1 – Relax and have fun!

The beautiful white sandy shores along Alabama’s Gulf Coast offer the perfect backdrop for your session. If you need some inspiration for outfits and coordination for your session, click here.

The absolute best light for your beach session is during the “Golden Hours” – this is generally the hour prior to sunset when the light is warm and even. This ideal time ranges between 5-7pm depending on the season. Some of our most spectacular sunrises and sunsets actually occur in January. With mild and short winters here along the Gulf Coast, photographers can easily hold sessions no matter the season.

Just be you, the best you. Relax and enjoy this time with your family and soak it all in. I love to capture real moments with real emotion. We will laugh, talk, and just enjoy the evening. Connecting with your family will ease any anxiety that you may have and together we will create magical moments that you will cherish for years to come!

Beach sessions are always a wonderful way to capture sweet family memories. Beach vacation photos are very popular along the Alabama Gulf Coast. I travel all along the Gulf Coast meeting and photographing families on the white sandy beaches of Ft. Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach. There are numerous ideal local spots that offer incredible sunset views, beach dunes, boardwalks and gorgeous blue water.

When choosing your beach photographer, make sure that the photographer is properly licensed and permitted. You can also find professional and vetted local photographers here.
